Garden Revival

Enjoy a thriving & sustainable garden with practical help from Highland Permaculture

One of the aims of permaculture is to establish a network of plants, animals and soil life that is self-sustaining with routine interaction from us human caretakers.

This is not always the case in our gardens.

There are several factors that impact the ongoing health of our gardens. These include:

  • Climate instability causing weather extremes including heat, drought and floods which impact soil and plant health
  • Soils which are naturally poor, or have been depleted by previous land-use, or are not very ‘alive’
  • Certain plants (or weeds) getting the ‘upper hand’ and taking over large areas
  • Established plants drawing on certain minerals in the absence of other plants and micro-organisms that give back
  • Unbalanced animal populations (eg slugs, earwigs) which thrive in the absence of suitable predators to keep them in check

Highland Permaculture can help you to get healthy balance back in your garden, and work with you to develop an ongoing plan of management to get your garden thriving.

The hard work of establishing a garden has been done. Now it's time to enjoy a thriving and sustainable garden with practical help from Highland Permaculture.
